hey compare it's price with it's camera. i think the camera is better than other phones in this price range (i tasted my friend's f490). and it is stylish too. so i am going for it.

Does anyone know what size of a micro sd card this supports? I've heard 4gb and 8gb.... does anyone know for sure?

dnt get me wrong this phone is a masterpiece
but i fail to see how a manufacturer would make a phone that would go loud enough to blow your speakers up and in turn ruin the whole phone , why would they do this ?
did they not test this first ?
i am slighty anoyed , if anyone knows how to fix a phone speaker please help me

look like all of you guy are blind. This phone has AUTO FOCUS you should read carefully before you complain about it

any body noticing that samsung is copying the i phone design, wich copied the LG prada design it self,
it seems that samsung designers are running out of creative designs that they are following the LG designs,
Plus, compared to the LG viewty, i think the samsung F490 is a lower feature replica!!!

No autofocus , no WLAN , No VoIP -- Guess this thing only looks nice but is quite useless compared with up-to-date things such as N95-8GB or other Smartphone.

They can put 5megs in there but can't put in autofocus. Its a marketing gimmik leaving you wanting an upgrade if you make a mistake of waisting your money on this.
This phone are for the clueless with money.

They leave out auto focus because they want G800 to have its own target customers so there won't be any conflict between G800 & F490.
I am guessing this phone is going to come out very soon in order to make this type of market decision.
I guess I am going to keep using my 903SH for awhile. :)

Typical Phone market... It's as if they did it on purpose.
I know we will not be stocking it here - I refuse to sell such a terrible device!
Not a suprise Samsung let the team down with there phones again.

this is another trash from samsung, its can´t be compared with lg ku 990 or nokia N95 in the camera phones category.
And in the touch screen... ku 990 is the best, after almost a big number of pda´s of course.
in conclusion, a simple piece of trash, with a 5 mp camera WITOUTH AUTOFOCUS!!!!

No autofocus?! whats the point of having 5mega pixels.. I'd rather have a 2mp autofocus cam, like the K750's.. Wifi, well 3G can make up for it, but wifi instead of 3G could have been better.. Love the 3.5mm audio jacks, but still aint gonna be buying dis..

I can't believe this no WLAN, no auto focus and no xenon flash
I've been waiting to get this phone since it was announced but without any of the above i'm going to another manufacturer!
How Could Samsung Mess This Up So Completely ???

I'm so excited about this model. I wish it becomes available in the Middle East. I've never tried any touch screen model before, so those of you who tried it (from any brand), did it ever give you a hard time? I mean does it stop working after a while?

i think the samsung f490 is very a nice ,stylish and expert phone.however there r some problems with the camera and in comparison with the viewty camera ,the samsung f490's camera is zero.but its nothing to make the company of samsung worried,im sure they will improve&make corrections.
