For all it's features, this supposed "iphone killer" misses a very important point, which is intuitiveness or ease of use. All the megapixels and super capabilities mean nothing if you have to read a thick manual just to do some simple tasks on a sleek looking phone with clunky controls. In the past Nokia has done a much better job at making menu navigation simple compared to Samsung; though probably not as user friendly as an Apple designed interface.

Nice looking phone, but lacks key features like AF, Wifi, and Xenon flash. No autofocus on a 5MP cam, what's the point? Disappointed by Samsung. They are like LG, they make sexy phones but never complete it like Nokia does. I'd buy this phone or the LG Viewty over Nokias & iPhones if there wasn't a few things missing all the time. Shame. =(

Overall its a nice phone to look at. 3.2 inch screen is big enough. But video recording at only 15 fps and no auto focus may make it less popular compared to its competitors.

how can this phone compete without a wifi? samsung shud've added that feature for it to be a competitive device...plus, price tag is way over priced

The first 5MP without AutoFocus, Samsung can build the sexy hand phone but full function at all. Like recently is GPS technology but why this one don't have? can build 5MP but no autofocus, 2008 Handphone but no GPS...

No Auto-focus! I am shocked. I was really hoping for this phone to be my next phone, but I think I am going for a Nokia Phone.
Not to include what is a fairly basic requirement of a camera phone is beyond belief.
Come on Samsung sort it out or you will lose your edge in the marketplace.

this phone is just a Viewty copy by Samsung...nothing really different other than the 0.2" display and UI. and no autofocus is just terrible for a camera phone these days...

the phone features seems good but i have problem w/ its appearance. i think it's too bulky and the color doesn't looks appealing, though for me samsung is really doing great job when it comes to competition w/ se and nokia ;)

This phone is nothing like the viewty. The viewty is 5mp with autofocus/better flash and video recording capabilities only known to the viewty. 30 fps at vga, and 120 fps at qvga. This samsung can only do 15 fps at qvga. No comparison in the camera/video recording department at all.

No autofocus was a pretty bad decision for samsung. Landscape shots or anything far away doesn't need autofocus, but anything close does. A 3.2mp with autofocus would have been a much better choice. The 3.5mm jack is welcomed. Also no wifi. And no 850. Still a very nice looking phone, very slim as well.
