Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite's S Pen will have Bluetooth, FCC confirms

27 November 2019
Bluetooth could mean simple wireless control like on the Note9 or more advanced gyro-tracked gestures like the Note10, it's not clear which yet.

Though model is named Lite, it will have screen size more than 6.5 I think.

Namelesss, 28 Nov 2019I doubt this Note 10 Lite is going to be any better than th... moreThe Note9 was going for practically full price all the way up until the Note10 release, and in fact I’ve not even seen many discounts for it since.

I have no doubt the Note10 Lite only needs to manage S10e-level pricing to have a solid place for itself. That’s especially true in the carrier-led, China-blocking US market.

I doubt this Note 10 Lite is going to be any better than the Note 9.
Unless someone would just want the latest phone, otherwise the Note 9 is going to be a far better buy and way cheaper.

Trump Fan 1980, 28 Nov 2019 the note 9 is way too heavy. That is relative. I prefer sacrifice some weight and have all the extra features. If you remove the face ID, the heart rate sensor, the audio jack, etc. And all their extra chips and circuits, of course that you are saving weigh but losing features at the same time a lot of customers want and give an extra value and functionality to the phone.

Slap a SD 730G chipset and this phone is good to go!

Anonymous, 28 Nov 2019The fanboyest fanboys periodThe Note 10 is the only Samsung product that deserves a praise.

I think the rest of the lineup is rubbish. And having said there are several problems with some Samsung phones (ex. in display fingerprint sensor) and they don't get fixed quickly. The AMOLED panel is the best quality (S and Note series) but they have screen burn-in issues.

Hats off to Xiaomi and Apple. Apple is boring but hideously good. Xiaomi is cheaper.

Personally, I think the timing is bad. Considering Samsung's pricing, I think the Note 10 would be equal to the Note 10 lite in cost. Consequently, Note 10+ would be only $100 more expensive, and you would be getting an all-round superior phone. Yes, it may avoid the big dogs, but considering it would be overpriced during launch, I would say it better launch sooner than later.

The Note10+ has lost this title because of removal of features, not least the 3.5mm jack, I was hoping Samsung would progress towards taking on dedicated Personal Music Players, but no, maybe in future who knows.

It's not just users like me but plenty of reviewers too, like GSMA's Victor:

Last year Victor's choice was the Samsung Galaxy Note9,

he was dissapointed with the Galaxy Note10 lineup because of modern design trends taking precedence over the Swiss-army-knife load of features the Note was known for, so he's sticking to his trusty Galaxy Note 9 (& the Galaxy Fold):

The Note 9 is a better phone. As the S11, these ones have lost features. If you remove the S-pen, they have nothing special to offer.

If this comes with a 7-series Snapdragon that'd be a terrific fit. Would make it effectively a Galaxy A80 with (IMO at least) a better USP.
