Samsung also produced generic AMOLED usually for their lower-mid range devices. The Chinese display manufacturer can produce their own AMOLED panel these days (Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode). I believe that technology is not solely Samsung's but I'm sure there are difference in quality etc.

Nova 5 and Nova 6 in the same year, I don't quite get the point. The phones look good tho but it's competing another Huawei phone, honor v30

This is certainly better than the big notch, which is now plaguing either of Mate 30 models, even if I still think that adding a second camera for selfies is ludicrous nonsense.
If I were to upgrade my Mate 20 anytime soon, I would rather switch to the Nova 6 than either of the Mate 30 models. The Nova 6 not having any rounded edge is an additional bonus.
