SKAANDROID86, 05 Dec 2019Your iPhone 11 has the specs of a 400 dollar android phone.... more52% of premium segment is no loss kiddo. ;)

The iPhone 11 has everything people want clearly, hence people are still happy to pay more for it than run off to the cheap and crappy Androids, that lose value in no time. I’d rather buy a $840 iPhone 11, knowing that in a years time it will still be worth something, rather than by any Android that will lose 50% of its value a few months later.

[deleted post]Your iPhone 11 has the specs of a 400 dollar android phone. 840 resolution, lcd screen and slow 5 watt charger. What a joke. Where is the 5G IPhone at? Take the loss fan boy

The fact is that iOS has only one seller, Android has multiple sellers, more options, more variety and a lot of devices are sold for low price - even as little as 100USD. If you think that One+ is considered premium device here, it would mean the cheapest iPhone could be considered a premium device, price-wise.. Personally, all I care about is what I will use. It isn't Samsung, it isn't iPhone for sure.

PS: I would say that Samsung Fold is totally different segment and it should not be viewed even as "premium". It would even be more accurate to say those are actually tablets.

Another confirmation bias post. Try removing the IPS wielding midranger from Apple in those stats and the numbers would look completely different.

AnonF-85937, 05 Dec 2019As I have been saying time and time again, Apple owns the p... moreIt's simply because only Apple uses iOS. There is no phone company that uses iOS than Apple. If there are many companies who use iOS, Apple wouldn't be first because many rather get a cheaper one.

Come to think of it, Android still loses anyway since 54% as of Q3 uses an iOS device.

So basically S10, Note10 and very limited availability Fold, vs i11 and i11 Pro Max.

Apple has 52% of the premium market. 48% of buyers still bought Android premium devices. That's far from

As I have been saying time and time again, Apple owns the premium segment, most people don’t care for premium Androids, LOL! The highest competitor is at a pathetic 25% despite having far more “premium” phones on the market:
                  Galaxy Note 10
                  Galaxy Note 10 Plus
                  Galaxy Note 10 5G
                  Galaxy S10
                  Galaxy S10 Plus
                  Galaxy S10 5G
                  Galaxy Fold

                  Etc....

Yet only a paltry and pathetic 25%!?

Laughable. Apple still takes more than half at 52%. :)
