Samsung Direct offers the Galaxy Nexus with extended battery

Samsung USA is offering the Galaxy Nexus with free extended battery and cover with a 2-year contract.

If you are currently under contract then this article is probably in no way relevant to you.

However, if you are like me and available for an upgrade this works out to the same price as buying the battery separate and saves a step.

            Iphone 4s 2 years 30 euro/mth contact 400 Euro
            Iphone 4s 2 years 60 euro/mth contact 280 Euro
            Samsung GS2 2 years 15 euro/mth contract - 380 Euro
            and so on....

                $300 on contract for a stupid phone .. oh wait ther is more .. so when do i get android 5.0 on it .. probably after 20 months of its launch .. and new battery doesn't help either .. its still android and hence sucks power.

It is not a full case for the whole phone. Nowhere on that site is there a cover for the phone that fits it with the extended battery and replacement cover. See the link below for a normal case. Once you have seen that try and find one that will fit over the phone with the extended battery and its replacement cover. Until someone comes up with one I will not be purchasing any extended battery.

                            They're ripping you off man.

                            Also, what has roaming charges got to do with it? People in Germany don't go to different countries any more often than people in the US would... as a day to day activity.

                              I'm prety sure that standard battery for Verizont GNex is 1850mAh. 1750mAh is standard battery for GSM version.

                                        Or you could get the Lumia 900 or 800 and you won't have to worry about the battery life and you'll get a better device overall.
