GPU mali g77 mp5 scores 100k
Mali g76 mp10 scores 150k
So the new 990 with mali g77 mp11 should score 220k for GPU which is around 40% improvement

Love the Community, 11 Dec 2019Since when Midrangers become as powerful as 2019 flagships? If you're talking about CPU then it's not surprising, considering Mediatek MT6885Z and Exynos 980 uses A77 microarchitecture, it'll definitely beat its predecessor. GPU still can't catch up and the difference is substantial. It's been like that since the Snapdragon 650/652. Nevertheless, a last gen flagship chipset is always better than current gen premium midrange chipset and if you do watch speedtests, it's still faster.

Love the Community, 11 Dec 2019Since when Midrangers become as powerful as 2019 flagships?Since flagships are now a lot overpriced and good mid-rangers cost as much as what flagships cost in the past. 450 - 600 euros mid-rangers are not cheap... cost enough money to have powerful SoCs. Some of them come plenty of features and OIS. So are even preferred above flagships that now are for a minority that want or can spend the highest price around or above 1000 euros. Here waiting for a Mi Note 10 5G, for example, or similar with same camera quality in the reviews and all its features despite the brand. Yes, a mid-range powerful phone with reasonable price.
