Why two one high resolution camera is enough for selfie. Mobile companies have made people bad about it. Selfie camera should be removed to save lives as many people lost while taking selfie. Without selfie camera people can be more social as they ask others to take snaps for them. Also it is easy to provide full screen display without selfie camera and high resolution main camera can be used. Cost of mobile can also be reduced.

People that actually use Samsung's Flagships c... moreyes. i do alot of sketching and drawing on the go as an artist. i used to do this on the samsung galaxy note series albeit the screen turning yellowish overtime, but i have put up with it because i still can do sketching/drawing with my ipad with the apple pencil. overtime though as i shift to do more drawings on the ipad, the yellowish tint on the note series becomes rather unbearable, and add to it the fact that the notes now have curved edges. i still bought the galaxy note 10 plus, but i only kept it for like a month and have since resold it. for sketching and drawing on the go i now use either my razer phone 2 or my pocophone f1 with a capacitive stylus. it is not the same as with the note as the s-pen was pressure sensitive, but at least i see close to accurate colors with LCDs even after a year.

I love you Xiaomi ever since you're starting but I think this is your worst design. A huge downgrade from K20

s-pen pusher, 13 Dec 2019you have got everything right except for the more durable. ... moreNice points. People that actually use Samsung's Flagships can attest to AMOLED burn-in. Even when taken with utmost care, the AMOLED would still degrade over time. Well I can say that degradation in itself is NOT the one that make that obvious, the main problem arises when the degradation is not "even" between the colored pixels and the screen area.
AMOLED degradation is fine when done evenly per pixel, per color and consistently on the whole screen area but NO ONE can actually do this consistently. IF people wants a screen that is always consistent in color rendition from day one for up to, for example 3 to 5 years, IPS is still my first choice given that its also properly calibrated at the start. :)

AMOLED or OLED can atually be more durable because it can have a plastic substrate and surface covering, whereas LCDs have to have glass. that is the reason only OLEDs can be bent or flexible. in the recent years though there was a breakthrough on using plastic with LCDs as well, so we may see flexible LCDs as well in the future.
now if it is longevity you were referring to, LCD is indeed better- the blue subpixel on OLEDs decay faster than the red and green, and in as early as a year you will see a greenish or yellowish tint on your screen.

If you planned to use your phone more than two year, LCD is the better choice.
There are LCD whose quality is equal to middling Oled but it still won't come close to the premium Oled in terms of image quality.

to all commenting on display.... this thing is freaking 250 bucks (4g version). The cheapest phone with 90 hz amoled (realme x2 pro) is priced 60 percent higher at 400.... You expect xiaomi to lose money or something?

Why just two?
Add two on the other side for symmetry, make them 3 cameras:normal, tele, and ultrawide, and make the fourth hole house the proximity and notification light.
While at it, you might want to add a fifth hole in the middle for the earpiece!
