    Even Sony wf-1000xm3 doesn't do AptX-HD or LDAC, they presumably use too much power for the available battery size in an ear bud

          Otherwise a good assessment.
          I do wish instead of tws, the tech industry would focus on neckband. Its more convenient than tws and harder to lose. Plus they can fit a bigger driver and pack more battery rather than having to charge every now and then.

            Does it support AptX and AAC audio codecs ?

It's actually a sad wireless headphone design they chose to copy. It's somehow like bad advertisement. Bad advertisement gets copied multiple times because bad advertisement works (e.g. mobile games). I will neither buy airpods nr realmy Buds. But: I got myself some cheap-sh*t wireless noname ear buds (without the rod at the end) - and they got everything i need....
