I use a Galaxy Note N7000. just Go to settings-->>wireless&networks-->>more-->>Mobile Networks-->Access point Names and just create a new APN. IT WORKS!!!

Once the update installed automaticallly, i could not get the data connection at all. After browsing through a lot of forums, i tried the APN (which stands for access point names). I am on the Singtel network. This is how you do it.
              1. Go to your settings
              2. Select the mobile network option
              3. Select the option " Access Point Names
              4. You should see a list in APN's screen
              5. Select one and then exit screen

You should have your data on, now..

              Good Luck..

There are two issues with my Galaxy Nexus(GN) on 4.0.4:
                    1. Wifi reception is very weak, compared with an 3-year-old iPhone 3GS. Often, iPhone can detect and connect to a weak AP on the street, where my GN just cannot conenct at all! What a shame!
                    2. Wifi is randomly "disconnected" although the phone tells me that it is connected. Even my router says my phone is currently connected, but there's no connection at all.

This is the fundamental features that must be fixed asap. Very, very disappointed Google.

Galaxy nexus GSM (not rooted), India. Google normal Update from 4.0.2 to 4.0.4 was around 37.5 mb. Battery backup increased by 75%, no network issues while the nexus dreaming. Loving my nexus even more.

Absolutely terrible! Since I've updated I haven't been able to get on a network. I tell it to find a network and it gets stuck on the searching screen and even though I can see the networks in the background I can't click on them. IF it gets past this to the point that I can click on the networks it still can't register. I'm going to re-install the old version as soon as I can get to a store (it's hard to do when you can't download anything).

after updating to 4.0.4 I have actually noticed a significant increase in battery life. At first I thought I was imagining it, but after a couple of weeks there's no denying that the battery is now discharging at approximately half the rate it was before. I don't believe I have made nay other significant changes, other than turning off WiFi most of the time because I read that this drains the battery when on and not being used.

I updated to 4.0.4 on my Nexus S and now I can't get data on my phone. It's been 2 weeks without data and Wind says they can't do anything and that I have to wait for the next update. Any ideas on how I can get my data working again?

I updated my Samsung Nexus S from the original Gingerbread to Icecream sandwich 4.0.4 last week upon being prompted by the OS to do so. But ever since, there is a process that is furiously draining the battery. When I check the battery meter there is a process by the name of '*wakelock*' that comes on top. Later the name of the process changes to 'Google Play Book' but the high %age battery usage of the process remains same. Can someone help to rectify this problem? or is the ICS update still corrupt?

Yes, I have this issue and it occurred right after the update to ICS 4.0.4 and moreover the battery drains faster I sleep mode than used to be with the 4.0.2
It's very annoying and I'm thinking about rolling back to the 4.0.2 when my battery life was pretty awesome!
