Redmi note 3 pro - mid ranger that is still good after 3-4 years. This is why i like getting interested in things - i can find something that exceeds most if not all of my needs.

              Wrong.

So you already know whats going to be out next year?

Those bezels were to die for, literally, you took a look at the phone and then you would be jumping from whatever story you are on. What an ugly, backwater, regressive phone. Thank god Sony has taken a backseat, what a bad phone company...

I like new smartphones more than previous older models. Now even cheaper phones can be great ones with powerful processor huge ram fast storage superb camera and long battery life. And of course they are beautiful as well. So you don't need flagship phones at all unless you are heavy gamer.

Samsung galaxy S4 had the most improvements for its time. It was sold in so many versions. Samsung did the snapdragon and exynos versions, then the Google edition of the phone was released. Then after all that it was so good they had a black version with a cpu and gpu improvements. The phone was super fast and had the best display packed with features you did not even seen. Like air view, smart stay, smart pause, air gestures, 2 types of scrolling one was with your eyes and the other was with tilting. Then from the sensors department there was a magnetic sensor, actual proximity sensor, rgb sensor for the display brightness, humidity sensor, ambient temperature sensor, significant motion sensor, step detector and step counter, gravity sensor and other. So many different sensors were used that were excellent and usefull. Also IR blaster, also 3.5 headphone jack, also notification LED and much more. The phone was packed with amazing features for it's time and all of this was in a very slim very light and easy to use packdge. The screen was amazing 5" at 1080p with ~441 ppi was insane for that time. The usb was the standart for the time microusb 2.0 with (MHL 2 TV-out). Also this phone was one of the first phones to get the WIRELESS CHARGING! Something that was considered pointless in 2013 when people were not so misserably lazy to be able to plug their phones. Never forget that that phone also had a microSD card slot.

This phone was supposed to be in this list because it did alot of things and in the small packdge it came in. It is more feature rich than most of the brand new phones that are released today. I did not understand why would a company remove usefullness from the device which gave them a huge selling potential. In 2013 this phone was made and lets say they did that same phone today but with the modern chips(just the chips! No stupid water-ressistance (which it did not have but it was very good to keeps water out.). In conclusion people will never see this kind of an amazing packed phone ever again at that for factor. Enjoy the retardedly oversized featureless unrepairable devices that are being pushed down your neck.

A end of the decade and a end of a huge improvemnt period in the phone industry.

Nokia N9 didn't herald anything. It was DOA in 2011. That's why it isn't being mentioned.

I don't care what MKBHD is saying but smartphones have become boring. It's recent trend is based on gimmicks and incremental upgrades in both hardware and software. The leaps we saw from 2007-2015 were evident. Then it became like jumping from PS3 graphics to PS4 by 2016 and after.

I could still use my LG G5 released in 2016 as my daily driver if I really wanted to. But I enjoy Pie so much on my Pixel 3 and Essential Phone that I can't. I also don't like how my G5 will occasionally not say anything during voice navigation. It's an annoying issue I have with mine.

Most phones released these days are a bore. Motorola Razr and Microsoft Surface Duo might change my mind for a little while but the 2010s could be the peak decade of smartphones. Some newer technology will have more appeal. Smartphones will turn like the laptop industry where more and more people will upgrade once every 5+ years.

iPhone 5s was a masterpiece among all iphone series. It is culmination of all previous old-gen iphones and first of new, modern iphone. 64 bit processor, 1 GB RAM, Touch ID, and good photo quality and attractive design. IOS got mature and stable finally in iOS 7 with new look. IPhone 5s was very mature and quite revolutionary at the same time. I was very happy and satisfied while using it for nearly 5 years. I will miss it for long long times to come.
