It's okay .....not all ui are same....but they should make it close to stock Android as they promised.... battery percentage icon is so small that it can't visible clear at a glance...i hope realme fix it with ota update

Taking your example into consideration one should read recommendations and criticism slowly and not for granted, just try it for yourself.

I have used Stock Android on Moto X Play, Sony, HTC etc, quite sleek design on them, then I moved on to MI Phones and let me tell you; in terms of customization and design, MIUI 10 and the recent update 11 is by far the best OS after OxygenOS in Android vertical.
Just because of a few recommendation, I bought the Oppo K3 that has Color OS 6. Seriously, this is the worst OS I have had to work with and now I am seriously waiting for the update that they (Oppo) are planning to FOTA in mid Q2-3 of 2020. Seriously guys, by that time, I would move on to another device. ColorOS lacks customization, you would have to pay for the disgusting themes available in their theme store.
And just to let you all know, Oppo uses bots and fake Google profiles to post comment on public forum to promote their devices. They are fooling people, luring them by all these fake comments.

ColorOS 7 is actually really good and has taken a few optimizations from oxygen. Color OS 7 is actually very very good.

This will not please Android purists. This is dialed back yes, but still not vanilla by any stretch of the world. I would compare this to MIUI going from 10 to 11. It's simpler, but not even close to vanilla. Manufacturers should be thinking in terms of added value. Go back to plain android and every change they want to make ask themselves "does this change add any value to the user experience?". If the answer is no, then don't do it.
