Unaudited HTC report for Q1 2012 shows big drop in revenue

HTC's fourth quarter last year bucked their upward trend and this year's first quarter is looking even worse.

    Customers are lerning that HTC have very bad quality! All HTC phones have too short batterylifes, high batterydrain, and many HTC phones have problems keeping stable 3g and wifi connections! My Touch Pro 2 had a bad designed backcover that often fell off when taking the phone out of my pocket, and my HTC desire had big problems keeping a stable 3g connection and had gigantic batterydrain and the motherbord needed replacement after a few months use because one day it just "died", and my Desire Z had a very fragily hinge and HTC never ever fixed the fatal ÅÄÖ-bug and the screen became very unresponsive, unusable, after only a few months use!
    I like the HTC design, but their bad build quality is the reason why I never again dare to buy any more phones from HTC.
    Remember the Desire S wifi "deathgrip"...!

      htc your one series will be super flop series because people want product like galaxys2 which has all the connectivity you dont include memorycard slot .no usb on the go support ,people dont want restricted android product ,your second quater
      will give you more loss .

          Thinking from customer view point....HTC is abt to face utter failure in their coming Quarter yrs....while at the same time SAMSUNG is above to harvest more return they expected....Reason WHY ????
          in case of the Indian market for smartphone is basically looking forward by an average class customer is the smartphones with beginning price range with almost fair facilities in it...
          HTC introducing One series with price range of 35000-40000/-.....would result in jst a slight move in the smartphone market thts all...while this year many smartphone companies are about to come up with well featured smartphones with reasonable price ranges...

            Of course they are going down if they make weak phones, such as the Sensation XL. They NEED to learn to PUT BIG capacity batteries on their phones, and big internal storage. The big internal storage is already available. This is a good point. Now they should focus at making phones with big battery capacity. They should make many white phones, the Sensation XL looks fantastic! :)

                HTC is a crap brand, i have restarts every 2 days, if i move around the house while i am speaking very big chance of losing signal.

                beside HTC Sense there is nothing special about this brand,

                        I bet that the new ONE series will bring lots of cash to htc, because from my point of view for example the "one s" with its htc sense 4 realy makes it look more luxury than the IOS and the iphone it self.
