"Google Play Games, Google Maps, Gmail, Google Pay, YouTube, and the Google Play Store are all apps that Huawei wants to create alternatives for due to the ban."
That should be easy. Will they become viable alternatives? That's the question. The major problems will be Maps, Play Store and YouTube.
Huawei won't recover from this anytime soon.
And maybe the next device mentioned here is yet another rebranding attempt, effectively an already existing device renamed, with more storage or something minor enough to be legally considered the same product.

China is doing very very very well in India. China and India combined have a massive population. And whilst the west has no idea... China and India together have overtaken anything Apple makes.
The sales figures in India and China are very very impressive. And realme has made an 845% sales increase compared to other phones.
Apple has done appauling in India.
India is soon going to have 5G. There market seems also to have the best Chinese smartphones after China. Then the rest of the world has finally access after India to the same smartphones.
India is actually even more advanced than the west especially for digital payments.
So it actually makes perfect sense for China to concentrate on the Indian market. There are more wealthier people in the population of India. Than America. America has only 360 million people. Not everyone is wealthy in America.
But India has 1.2 billion at least. And a good section of that population are very very wealthy too.
I personally know this.
Huawei is not slowing down in sales. If anything. This new eco system is welcome for even the west... A strong rival and alternative to Google.
Besides? Why on earth do you need Google on android anyway?
New pipe - better than youtube
Swiftkey - better than gboard
Maps. Plenty of alternatives.
Email? You must be joking... There is every alternative email company in the world.
Play stores... Aptoide, piratebay, pure apk. Mirror apk and so many more...
I almost Google less. Almost. I hardly use it. Maybe the search engine. But that's about it.
There are so may work around if needed.

Anyone who spends money on a serious device like mate 40 pro etc. Who on earth needs Google? Especially when there are so many alternative in most ways... Better alternative apps.
Besides... If anyone is going to buy a huawei mate 40 Pro. They don't deserve such a phone if they are going to ruin it with Google apps. And only a tech specialist deserves such a phone as they will know how to get the best without Google.
Personally every app I use is better than the majority of Google apps available.
I almost google less. Best thing I did. And the apps are just way better.
The phone is quicker without Google. Android is about creativity, performance, choice, power, ability, dynamic, user friendly.
You do not need Google.

I'm seeing this as another choice for a deGoogled Android phone. Sure that you can flash custom ROM with microG, but that's only for geeks and advanced users.
