Losses are generated not from inefficient staff numbers but from exporting manufacturing in China and India. Why didn't Sony have these financial losses in 1980? Because: all Sonys were manufactured in Japan then!

Sony make the some of the poorest quality android phones.
Xperia range suffered a lot of issue like microUSB ports coming loose from the board.
Also Xperia mini and mini pro sucked bad
The Vivaz range were a joke, Micro USB ports came loose from the board easily. The screen lost calibration a lot. I got sick of booking these in for repair.
Sony might have been amongst the first to 1GHz cpu but after that things went dramatically downhill.

Sony fail to produce more reiable & flexible configuration as others do & they are now downsizing ther employees. Changing the CEO will make the U turn of the decision & also can make more employees. Thumbs Down to you Sony !!

How can you say apple brain wash people? Apple ios is simple and every thing is there right in front of you people from all generations can pick it up and use it, plus there so smooth through the menu so these phones will appealing to a lot of people, as for me I like something that i customize thats why I went for an android phone (xperia arc) it's not a bad phone really glitchy, the build quality is not all that as the phones case cracks in certain places, this will properly be my last Sony phone as they seem to be trailing behind all the other android devices the xperia s is just on par with the SGS2 with the 3 round the corner this phone will be out of date befor you know it. Plus with Sony being late with ICS I have to say they need to pull there finger out to get back on top.
