I certainly hope that ASUS will kick Samsung's a** with the new PadFone...

Judging by the comments so far, it shows everyone looks to Samsung for the latest innovative tech and designs.Personally I am not too fussed whether it has a physical home button or not.Would have been nice aesthetically but iv never had a problem with it on my GS1 and not too keen without it on my mates HTC.

As long as some of the rumours surrounding the GS3 are true and throw in a few non rumoured specs then I'll be confident I'm buying the best smartphone available.

Really wish they would announce it though as it's really annoying checking for facts on the GS3 everyday and only getting the same regurgitated rumours.

    GIVE US SOME MEAT SAMMY!

The US release likely won't have the home key, just as all the other gens are versions did not when they finally made it across the pond.

It'll be creaky flimsy plastic like the others, too. They definitely are to going to build it to be robust, as it should last you until the GSIV, then not support the GSIII.
They are counting on you to get it and keep following that pied piper.

Historically the AT&T branded Samsungs get virtual buttons, and the international unlocked version gets a physical button. Except for the Nexus.

My personal choice, I prefer a virtual button like the Nexus rather than a mechanical button so that rule me out buying the Samsung Galaxy SIII all honestly so I will wait to see what the Iphone 5 and Sony LT29i will come up with instead.
