The G8X is a V50S though. And is also sold in Canada so it's more of a North American device than just US.
And the G9 is a rebranded G7 Fit from last year too.
But yeah LG had a weird and very confusing year.

The G8 ThinQ's battery is also sealed with permanent adhesive, don't forget that.
