Active(!) noise cancellation requires a power supply to power the additional microphones and processing that happens on such models. Hence you will only see ANC on headphones with batteries or USB interfaces, as USB can also send power in addition to the audio signal.

There are brands that use ANC for just the best models, while the cheaper ones do not have.
If you want great ANC, buy Sony or Bose.

Off topic. I never got answers for this question. Why do wired headphones like my ATH-M50x and other over ear wired headphones don't have Active Noise Cancellation?

Also more battery life would be pointless since it has universal USB C port, also wireless charging which works well with reverse-wireless charging enabled phones.

I've been considering the Galaxy Buds successor for a really long time and for me the only thing Galaxy Buds didn't offer was ANC, I will be truly disappointed if they end up lacking ANC (unless they're offered at $129)

What's the point of not investing in ANC? Galaxy Buds already good and works well. Not adding key features will be a hard sell.
