No, they wont adopt heavily/overprocessed/fake looking HDR photos like Samsung.
It is why photographers prefer playing with exposure during edition than using image stacking. It is impossible to avoid artificial looking using stacking /HDR+ ..

And with ToF on board, i think Sony finally realize to adapt with computational photography. Just dont overdone or too lazy on the software side.

For those who think that 4000mah is inefficient? You don't know Sony. Sony is well known for the best battery endurance for small batteries. If a 3000mah can output around 90hrs of endurance, 4000mah can last around 110hrs average. Don't underestimate Sony's proprietary battery tech like Qnovo and Stamina.

Apparently this has 1080p screen so it's ether a midranger or entry flagship but sure as hell it's not Xperia 1 successor nor it will be called Xperia 5 Plus :) Fingerprint reader with integrated power button gives it away that this will be Japan/EU product only, most likely just like Xperia 8.
