Small display inside a huge case doesn't make it small... SE was cool for the retro vibe, this will be cool for basic users who just scroll through Facebook for cat pictures and wisdom quotes with sparkly stars and butterflies.

This is a 6 year old design, huge bezels, you could get much much better today for that price. This is a fail on arrival for those who actually know even a little bit about phones, only iDiots will go for this

Oh wow what huge bezels. Guess Apple going backwards. But to be fair. Its only an alleged render. So im guessing not 100%. But i did like the iphone 11

I don't care about the bezzels and generally use the phone for music, emails and GPS.
I rarely take photos and try to stay off the phone as much as possible.
As long as it works like an iPhone and doesn't cost as much as a car, I'm fine with it.

There's a market for people who still buy iPhone SE's , there are people who use a phone for just that, some internet messaging and other assorted tasks but don't do any media consumption on it so they don't see the need for a big chunky phone to lug around in their pockets / purses.

Most Android phones including premi... moreWho wants the same phone for 5 years, to start the battery will last 3 if lucky and then you have to crack it open to replace it, you will pay for service 1 or 2 times while missing all the new tech, 2-3 years seems time enough to get bored and get something new and updated.

What is the sense to pack iphone XS or maybe even iphone 11 guts to iphone se 2 which looks exactly the same like iphone8? Its just stu pid
The design of iphone se2 should stay the same as it is, Apple should just implement bigger screen, not even amoled but just bigger screen than in previous iphone.

While other phone maker trying to make all screen phones and all under display sensors, Apple is set back to 2014 and think that many people still need compact phone. Wrong Apple. I will buy this phone for under $100. At least it has Apple logo on the back.

Seriously, to try to still sell a six year old smartphone design with humongous bezels, that's ludicrously impudent, even by Apple's standards.
For those people who prefer tiny phones, imagine a 4.7" phone with all the bezels cut and just screen, that would make it even more compact! Those giant bezels are extremely out of place on a phone that's meant to be compact, they make it much bigger than it needs to be!
Just put the selfie cam in a punch hole in the upper left, and the Touch ID on the back, so the phone can really be as compact as possible!

Thus no updates, and a very high risk of getting malware/viruses from the web and from the playstore. Whereas the iPhone will be updated for 4-5 years and the risk of getting infected with anything is so low that it's negligible.
