Yeah I'd rather buy the note 10 lite than pay 1000 bucks for the plus. As long as they treat it as a note and dont abandon it with OS updates that is

The S10 costs the same as iPhone 11. But then who wants an iPhone 11 with cheap 720p display over S10.
The s10e costs around 150 dollar cheaper than iPhone 11 and s10e.

Samath N8 808 owner, 13 Jan 2020I've been reading reviews and gathering info since years no... moreI agree with you I don't hate on other companies, I just hate ignorant people that don't educate their selves first before talking, I'm a samsung fan from way, way back, don't think I haven't noticed that they've got better in the past years, my friend bought a MI 9T and he said he's very satisfied,but I love Sammy devices I stick to what I know plus Sammy's getting better and better each year, am interested in the s20 ultra let's see what will happen down the road.

Samsung've been at the forefront of innovation, and they actually implement stuff better. I don't think I've seen a bad Samsung flagship since S7 launch, or even S6 I would say.
Audio quality is top notch, displays were jaw dropping for years & still are, cameras are great and mostly well tuned.
Mi on the other hand is mostly run of the mill parts, not particularly innovative at anything as such. The result is good camera in few Xiaomis, good audio quality in none as such.
And I have a Redmi 2 Prime, so won't lie here.
The comment about Samsung looting is wrong. Its all good employment for people, marketing agencies, middlemen, etc. They're a big company with big expenses too.
But even you might agree that Xiaomi actually gives 90% of what Samsung gives, at around 40% of the price. And sometimes they exceed too, case in point being the Redmi K20 Pro.
Or Redmi Note 8 Pro in midrange, which already matches S9 in overall performance.
So, one can't have it all. I'm waiting for S10 (non plus) prices to go down and I'll definitely get it then.

I suggest you review them, and then we can decide better.
Because these Samsung phones are all about Quality. or sometimes lesser Quality.
Otherwise, compare their price to a K20 Pro or Redmi Note 8 Pro and we know these "Lites" don't stand much a chance (both the Redmi's are faster than even the Galaxy S9+, on benchmarks)....

I think you should follow your own advice, just because you are hating doesn't mean that we are listening to you, these devices will sell like pan cakes as usual no matter what you say and stick to your chinese crap since they are way cheaper and better according to you.

I also tried to look into another country's store, and S10 (not S10e) costs the same as the iPhone. Lowest configuration, of course. It's just the 11 Pro that sells too high.

You just hate any product from China Sorry but in my country there's ads everywhere in low-end Xiaomi phones. Don't be judgmental until you try it. I have tried the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro in a Mi store. Both phones have preloaded ads (ex. phone loads online store ads, ex. Lazada) in their notification bar. Also tried to reach the settings, and damn it was near impossible to adjust the settings for individual apps.
I don't hate Chinese products, in fact I like many realme phones. But there are just some products that don't fit my taste.
