The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will actually be called the Galaxy Z Flip

Perhaps we are looking at the beginning of an entirely new device family for the Korean giant?

Psymobile, 13 Jan 2020This smartphone's gonna be the best from Samsung, trust me.Yup, this does look like a worthy replacement for my Note 9. I'll miss the headphone jack and the pen, but being able to flip the phone open will be a satisfying substitute.
I just think they should have gone with bird names on these flipping phones.

Shouldn't they reserve the Z name for a phone that folds in thirds in the shape of a Z?

I thought the Fold 2 will likely be a clamshell/flip phone that folds in two on the middle.
Maybe we're in for a surprise?

I don't understand why some Author's are calling this upcoming device as Fold 2? The Galaxy Fold is a different series and the Galaxy Bloom or Z flip is different. The successor of the Galaxy Fold is expected to come near September. On Feb 11, we are expecting to see the launch of Galaxy Bloom or Z flip first generation.
