The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will actually be called the Galaxy Z Flip
We have already seen the upcoming clamshell foldable Galaxy phone a few times and there are big chances it's coming alongside the S20 on February 11. In a new development however we learn it won't be a successor of the Galaxy Fold but the start of a whole new lineup instead.
Previously we heard the phone will be called Galaxy Bloom as that is what DJ Koh - Samsung's Mobile head - was calling it. Now, as per the reputable Ice universe, the Bloom was only a codename with the final product to be sold as Galaxy Z Flip.

Last week's Bloom moniker came backed up by a blurry photo of what looks like an official poster or perhaps presentation slide. This new Galaxy Z Flip title was shared alongside a banner. Of course, there is no proof of its authenticity except for the source's excellent track record.
Samsung's upcoming foldable handset is pretty much shrouded in mystery at this point. Beyond some alleged live photos and rumors of Super Fast charging we know little in terms of specs. More recently, we heard a rumor that the "Fold 2" will be sticking to the older Snapdragon 855 chipset.
We'll keep you posted with any further news, info and developments on the topic.
