Android auto drops all the time in my 2019 Silverado. There is nothing wrong with my cable either. It will just randomly stop working. Very disappointing

Android Auto is just so much better than Apple Carplay. Carplay sucks so badly it's nearly making me return my iPhone 11 and go back to my P20 Pro.

I found my old N26 Debit card I don't use in a drawer at home. Used it to set up a German Google account to get an official version of it. Works a treat! Only thing that doesn't seem to be working is responding to a message. After AA has read the WhatsApp message, it tells me I can tap the Voice button to reply and when I do that, the car tells me the app is either out of date or not available

All those poor souls trusting google with their data, even in their cars. Anything coming from google and facebook is pure evil/trash.

Good thing Android still allows us to download and use software unavailable in some regions. Been using AA for about 2 years even though it's now officially supported in my country. Only fuss is you have to download and install new releases manually.

I think Android Auto is a very good product. It started rough, with many issues, and very few use cases. But today, it got to the point where it is very useful. And the word "useful" is crucial. Android Auto is NOT a revolution, or an entire new product. It is an additional software layer, which uses - and discharges - your phone; but allows you to use the entire information already stored in your phone in your favour. Moreover, it gather more information from your vehicle, in order to help you. The screen UI could get improved, I think. I would prefer to see a map, like Google Maps, but is is very nice indeed. Just a reminder: Google wants, collects, and treats your entire data. It is not only to help you.

Ooinaru, 14 Jan 2020Still haven't released in any of the nordic countries :/apkmirror, or other source, can be used.

But it really is a shame how low priority we still get in the north by Google.
Gboard also sucks for swiping in Norwegian, compared to any of the others I've tried.

The new Android Auto is very good, much much better than what it was before the update. Making Google map the main feature was very smart.

BigDisplay, 13 Jan 2020Five years... And still not in Denmark... Amazing. Same here in Romania, it's just been released officially some weeks ago... Good thing you can manually install it from www, at-least...
