That much for an unresponsive OS? I get the camera is amazing and the FM transmitter is handy but seriously? There is a reason why so many people ran away from Nokia's Symbian when IOS and Android hit the markets. User Interface, since that is what you look for in general everyday usage. Symbian is ancient and generally involves a decent level of lag. We have heard since the times of the N8 that Nokia has finished off all the lag issues but it lags like shit. Personally I have had the experience of Nokia phones and they are solid in hand but the os is worthlessly unresponsive. So adding cores or a better camera should be done without forgetting about the overall product features.

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2012Windows Phone dominates Amazon with just a few phones. Andr... moreLOL nice try in trying to use fake propaganda. The list you linked to uses "top rated", not "top sellers", and as we all know only Microsoft Windows Fanboy are purchasing Windows phone 7 devices so why wouldn't they rate their devices as good?

              http://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Cell-Phones-Accessories-Service-Plans/zgbs/wireless/2407747011/ref=zg_bs_nav_cps_1_cps

Here is the list of current best seller. Notice how only the Lumia 900 is on that list, BECAUSE ITS FREE,
the rest of the devices are Android NOT FREE.

Next time try being less of a fanboy. lets see where the Lumia 900 lands when it's not free anymore?

Andr... moreAnd its just a beginning, the firs WP 7 device to enter the US smartphone market and its making waves.. even won CES 2012 as the best smartphone. The single core processor has smoked a lot of devices both in Android and Iphone. When Apollo update or Windows Phone 8 comes this year, this will end all battle with those "fake techy" Android fanboys pretending that they are holding a techy device only coz it has a quad core processor. FAIL! Apollo update will open for multi core support and micro SD card slot plus NFC. So fanboys - the last laugh is with us!

Windows Phone dominates Amazon with just a few phones. Android is too laggy and unstable to use as a daily phone. Prefer Windows Phone and iOS.

Certainly they could have made the resolution better than 640x480 (simply unacceptable in a modern smartphone at this price)

I think it was just to grab a few 2012 headlines whilst they worked on the Lumia Pureview... fair play to them - it's brilliant marketing and it's certainly got me interested for next year!!
