The 120Hz LCD is a key selling point, the 27W charger in the box is a nice addition too.

Alex 94, 26 Jan 2020Yes but price of mi 9t pro and redmi k30 is almost the same... moreNope. Mi 9T Pro is still $100 more. Non 5G Redmi K30 sells around $240 on AliExpress so they aren't that comparable.

dude111, 26 Jan 2020Why does it need a "2MP depth sensor" when the phone alread... moreOne is ultra wide which is usuallg not the best choice for portraits other is macro which has very close focus point so I doubt it will be of any use so that makes the third a depth sensor, if it had a telephoto instead of macro or wide angle the deoth sensor would be unnecessary

Instead of front depth sensor a wide angle would be way better cause software already does a decent job for front and I'm not liking the shiny circle around cameras

Anonymous, 26 Jan 2020agree.. The price of the k30 is quite a lot cheaper. The 5g version is similarly priced due to the price cuts for the k20 pro

Ugly camera arrangement on the back, which tried to mimic other phones with round arrangement.
Even uglier front camera arrangement, where most people don't need the second cam.
They had used popup for a single cam, but cutout for 2?
They should have named this Poco instead of K30 and spoiling the image of K series

Are you sure it has metal frame ?

Alex 94, 26 Jan 2020Yes but price of mi 9t pro and redmi k30 is almost the same... moreIf you go for mi9t you should stick to Android 9 MIUI 10 stable forever and never update. Once you do update to Android 10 MIUI 11; welcome to Xiaomi planned obsolescence with no possibility of rollback due to anti-rollback. Xiaomi will slap you with lag, battery drain, overheating, ghost touch, poor gaming experience and finally bootloop once you try to rollback after frustration :-( for not buying K30 with the latest update which you should never update too straight from the box and disable auto updates you will be fine. ;-)

The Pro version of this was to be my next phone but only if it retains the uninterrupted OLED screen. I'm not hopeful.

I don't understand why abandon the pop up camera in favor of this crippled display...

the lcd is also the key not-buying reason !

Wow? The same 6GB Ram and 64GB spec as K20... But K20 is about 150usd more than K30.

                                        Think about it...

That is really good. Xiaomi have made the K30 even more affordable and can reach out to those who may not wish to spend more than 250 usd for a phone.

That is a really good idea... Then for those with more enthusiasm. The K30 Pro... Followed by the Premium edition?
