" For context, the Xperia XZ Premium display panel supports 3 screen modes: 1080p@60fps, 2160p@60fps, and lastly the disabled 1080p@120fps mode. This disabled high frame rate mode can be enabled by reverting this commit to the display panel configuration in the kernel source code."
" It turns out that there are more Sony devices that have a hidden 120Hz display mode disabled by the kernel. XDA Recognized Developer Myself5 went digging into the source to confirm to us that the Sony Xperia X, Sony Xperia X Performance, Sony Xperia XZ, Sony Xperia XZ1, Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, Sony Xperia XA2, and Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra all support this screen mode. Basically, any new Sony phone except for the Sony Xperia X Compact should support this mode."

Anonymous, 23 Jan 2020Doesn't matter how nice the design is if the phone isn't compact.Problem is the fact it is impossible to give all this inside small body like XZ2c.
With this design, a device with similar height of XZ1c would be 5,1 wide.
Too narrow to use.

Gusta, 22 Jan 2020Phone naming product from Sony is confusing. That's why the... moreThey were more popular during Z series because there were not 10000 brands selling phones. I bet there are more than 100 brands just in China.
People that do not read about tech wont know difference between phone from Sony, Samsung, LG, Vivo, OnePlus, Xiaomi etc ... It will just look at screen size, battery size and camera resolution. And end up buying the cheaper one.
In 2018/19 you could find tons of phones with micro usb, absent nfc and gorilla 3 out there (mainly from BBK siblings). And ppl still bought it because of amount of ram and storage.
L3 is a simple phone for those that want basic, but it packs nice stuff like NFC, Gorilla 5, ddr4 ram , stereo sound for video recording and USB c.
I prefer a phone like this than a phone with SD712 that has 6GB but ddr3, gorilla 3 , micro usb and no nfc ....

XDA says it ...
Sony does not have cheap screen like other.

Will it have at least 90 Herz screen ?
I guess DxO Mark will hate Sony's camera and will give it a score of 90, again. Which is redicules for a SONY brand in 2020.
