I wont buy a 5G phone untill 99% coverage which will be some time. Give the contract prices time to come down. My network was charging £67 a month for S10 5G. Ouch.

i am concerned about 5g phones but im also worried about the towers too

Come on guys, why worry about 5G if 4G or even 3G isn’t totally implemented in many areas/ countries?! It just does not make sense. And after all, 4G is fast enough for everything we need!

In my opinion it is mmWave which poses a threat to health because of the type of radiowaves (which can be found on microwave appliances), sub-6Ghz is safer and is basically similar to 5Ghz Wifi.

Maybe you meant mmWave in your comment, because mmWave (microwave) has less coverage despite much faster speeds than sub-6Ghz. Sub-6Ghz is easier to implement.

I'm just gonna say what QUALCOM said....

the best 4G modem is 5G modem
(X24 in SD 765 beat all other 4G modem)

IOW, 2 among 3 believe 5G is better than 4G.

The fact that 5G is meant only for large cities and it doesn't work in rural areas where lots of people live doesn't inconvenience anyone. There's nothing magically better about 5G-enabled phones vs. 4G.

It's mostly a marketing ploy, so that you bought a "NEXT GEN 5G device. How can you miss out on it?"

I would like to get fast internet in home, but its expensive 4G router costs 150 euros + other equipment.

A lot of people are interested in 5G. Eventually most people will gradually be upgrading handsets to 5G compatible networks. The same phase by phase approach from 2G to 3G and 3G to 4G. It will just take a little bit more time but there is a momentum already.
