I had the Sony w800 phone in 2006 when I started my first job. The sound from speakers were great for the time and I liked the fact that you got a 512mb memory card included. The camera was fine as well a 2mp one where you could print a 6 by 4 inch print of good quality.

The problem back then was :

      - Sony had a different SD card module that was not widely available
      - Slightly costly & battery backup was less w.r.t to nokia
      - Symbian phones were expandable and supported various multimedia formats & games

Despite all, Sony built robust walkman series and i love them

        I´ve the K750i still in use ... for nearly 15 Years (?)
... the batterie (accu) lasts more than two weeks
... the camera has a pretty nice macro-modus

OMG I Love the K750i - My biggest regret is "lending" the spare, boxed one I was keeping, to a friend who'd lost his mobile...who then subsequently had the K750i stolen soon after. It was such a Great phone to handle. Yes crude by today's standards of course but a design classic and was the first decent attempt to show the world what coupling a decent phone to a decent camera would look and feel like. IMHO it beats the W880 by a whisker in terms of taking the phone game to a whole new level within it's time context (W880 showed the world 3G phones could be skinny little bxtches, given 3G phones up to then were hwuge compared to 2G models - but it's camera was compromised, dropping AF).

I started with my very first mobile SE T105.. W550 from walkman series..K800 from Cybershot series and last Experia X10

Ahh ... the 750i ... back when you could hold on to a phone for a couple of years.... Hot damn that was a great phone had it nearly 6 years till the camera stopped working :(

Prince.ars, 28 Jan 2020Sony Ericsson K750 was one of the best phones I ever used, ... moreThe best phone I had at that time I had was the k790. Without doubt a phone of the best there was!

                        Oh god.., the memories.
You just revived my teen years. I absolutely loved Sony Ericsson phones.
Talk about style, they all had uniqueness and screaming originality. You could easily tell one from the other from metres away.
Just our growing up years were awesome. I still remember putting my phone in the center of places I used to gather with mates. They were break dancing using my w550 stupidly loud speakers.
Well, another thing our smartphones can't do.

Sony Ericsson K750 was one of the best phones I ever used, that Cybershot cam and the shutter were just perfect and the Display was Sharp and bright.
One of the best phones that this brand has ever produced .
One of the cons that I would say was the headphones/charger .
this phone would have done wonders with a 3.5mm audio jack

Didn't like the k750 or w800 due to the fiddly joystick. I had the w810 and still have it and still works except it only supports GPRS and the memory card slot is broke. Amazing phone and used it on my overseas travels and this was pre iPhone days so i used to get funny looks listening to music on it.

Loved SE walkman phones. I had the w810i and w910i. Problem with SE are the proprietary charging/headphone port. The w910i was a sexy design but the lcd flex will give problems in the long run

I had the K800. I remember I was so happy to have it, and it was a good camera phone. I had the N73 Music edition after, and there was not much of a difference in terms of image quality when there was enough light.

Kraftwerk, 27 Jan 2020I still have my K850 and if I remember well, it was the fir... moreThe N95 was launced before the K850.

It wasn't just branding, the W800 came with in-ear headphones that were much better than the K750 regular earbuds.
