Oh well, no more HTC for me. I was hoping to see a new Desire Z (Or htc One Z )
Now is Motorola's chance. If they release the Droid 4 globally, (and with a better screen ;) ) They have a true winner! One competitor less to worry about. Goodbye htc, hellooooo Motorola

Who cares about qwerty keyboard phones when it's so much easier to type on the screen... I mean, one actually has to press the key down, good riddance :)

dave, 21 Apr 2012shame all phones are boring unorigional bricks now, give me... moreYea good batteries, good speekers, qwerty's
Instead they think "shiny" (Boring) looking and 789563465 cores with 89723965467345 ghz is enough for a great gadget. Not even close.

Bad decision HTC.
People want Touch + Tap + Type
Tap being Stylus and Type Slider QWERTY
Also they want Dual SIM

They probably think people don't want QWERTY phones just because they don't buy HTC qwerty phones...
Well people don't buy because of the crappy batteries, crappy speakers, crappy cameras and huge prices.
Get real HTC or you're finished (For good).

I really love my HTC Chacha, better than any other Blackberry or Other Andoid and iPhone. It would be nice if there would be another like it.

I am disappointed with this news. I love the Desire Z and got it primarily for the keyboard. Coincidentally, I just got notified that I am eligible for a hardware upgrade and there is no HTC phone with a keyboard in site. I will likely just keep using my Desire Z for the forseeable future. There really isn't any phone out there that I would want to ditch my Desire Z for right now.

too bad, but lately the qwerty devices havent been that hot.
But maybe we will start to see better BT keyboards and wallet style cases with built in qwerty. I would like to see something like that for Note (and the next s-pen device) cause really I want the best of to worlds when it comes to note-taking.

personally I am not happy. I have used phones like 8125, touch pro2, desire & have loved the qwerty keypads. HTC phones are the most durable in the price segment. but they should continue with qwerty. innovate more & come out with thinnest qwerty 11mm or 10mm thick. htc, please don't stop qwertys.
