Who cares? It's going to be another laggy, jittery and inconsistent Android phone that can't last a full day without recharging.

The only difference between this Galaxy whatever and HTC is that this one is going to be a shameless, blatant Apple rip off.

The page says a whole new universe ...
Universe is made up of many galaxies ... so can I expect many galaxy devices?
          Like galaxy s3, s2+, tab 11.6 ... may be a TV or a laptop ...
          I think I am going crazy ...

          7 more minutes ...

Anonymous, 23 Apr 2012I think iPhone is like going to your favourite restaurant, ... moreThat's a very good comparison...!

All I would add to that is that the iOS restaurant is an all you can eat buffet of your favourite things... whereas Android is more tapas-like - very tasty bits here and there but doesn't quite give you a full meal...!

                    ;)

And there's no comparison for mobile gami... moreI think iPhone is like going to your favourite restaurant, it's trusted, the food is nice, and the menuis always the same, it's comfortable and reassuring. Whereas, Android is going to different places, trying different chefs, with different menus! It can be great, or it might just not be to one's taste at all. It's a sense of adventure!

Anonymous, 23 Apr 2012What irks me about the iPhone is a lot of features made ava... moreGod, there's no doubt that iOS severely lacks the flexibility of Android, I love dragging and dropping files (any files) and Android playing pretty much any movie file I throw at it..

For me, removable battery has never been an issue - but I totally agree with sd card slot - 32gb (about 26 in reality) is not the greatest amount of storage...

Yes, it's boring, but does the UI matter that much if there are so many apps on there that are worth using?!? And things like Facetime I guess with other iphone users replace that videocall feature.. (trying to muscle in on Skype there I reckon!)

I read another preview for Galaxy S3 (turning it back to the main thread point) saying that the graphics benchmarks are going to smash everything else... But without something like infinity blade on it to really showcase the power - what's the point? I love my GS2 - it's been brilliant, I've customised it, downloaded everything under the sun for it, rooted it, tried a million different roms and launchers... but where it counts, i.e. usefulness and apps, I'm finding Androind now lacking a bit...

                              :O/

Like bluetooth file transfer, video calls, built-in free call recorder, microsd slot, removable batteries, etc...

A lot of my friends still use feature phones (old Samsungs, Sony Ericssons and Nokias) and I miss being able to simply video call them up or bluetooth them a nice group photo I just took on my awesome 8mp phonecam.

AnonD-8044, 23 Apr 2012For goodness sake why come to an android forum to talk abou... moreCome on Brynn, it's a discussion, we're talking about Samsung, we're talking about Galaxy (being a Galaxy owner myself) and we're talking about comparisons of operating systems!!

My entire point is that a fantastic specced phone is nothing without an app infrastructure... if you read all my posts you should see that...

That's what having a discussion is all about - bringing in different points and different areas - not solely and narrowly being able to discuss one small facet... not just narrowly saying something is 'good' or 'bad'...

And really it's to get different points of view from the mobile community in general - their thoughts on the Galaxy 3 - and whether or not quad core, HD screen matter, if the OS itself isn't the prime development platform for apps... and if customisation really is more important than application...
