The S10 lite has a flat-screen, but it's not a proper flagship as the camera is really lacking behind. And it's really big.

I was gutted when my S6 Security updates stopped, but you can see they've improved, the S7 family have now been receiving Security updates for 4 years, but they must keep improving:

Right on the heels of two phone models that have no reason to exist aka Note 10 lite and S10 lite.

I think I will skip s20 and wait until 5g is more mature that manufacturers can make high end SOCs with built-in modem.

if iphone se2 is successful, maybe Samsung will create s20e with flat screen like s10e. this will be the interesting one

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2020Yes, price is 5G. S20 4G will be $900 I think they said all of the S20s will be 5G enabled.

You would be stupid to buy this phone at launch. Android phones depreciate fast after the hype train has died down.

I like samsung but this is crazy, a phone in 2020 is over 1000$, you can buy a really good computer with that, i think over 500$ is stupid in the end india and china knows. Thats why Realme is getting popular really fast. The Realme X2 pro is really good phone to buy, i am waiting for the realme with the 865!

Qu... moreMostly 5G is in USA, SK, China etc. Samsung is using SD865 there(not sure about SK). So, all 5G there. But for the rest of the world they use Exynos. So, the rest of the world can have the option to choose.
Or there is another possibility. The 5G versions will be both exynos and snapdragon 865 while SD is for US-China. And for all other4G/5G version Exynos SoC will be used.

Qualcomm only sells the 865+x55 which is a 5G modem. There's no point in limiting the capabilities of the device by software, nor to sell one at a higher price given that both have the exact same hardware.
The only thing they can do is sell a "complete 5G" version due to the extra antennas (and space) needed for the mmWave part, but that would only confuse the consumers.
