Free to play with pay to win elements should be illegal. The only accetable form of free to play is the cosmetic only like in Path of Exile.

Mobile gaming is awesome. Okay. Not quite the match of RGB liquid Cooled PC's with 360+fps.

The but non the less... Having something like a black shark 3 5g or rog phone 3 5G or Nubia Red Magic 5G should certainly give an unprecedented and elite edge in mobile gaming... Creeping closer to gaming pc specs... And definitely bypassing most conventional and traditional laptops and PC's... Mobile gaming IS the way forward.

Make sure you get what you need to do during the day... Make sure everyone is okay...

The turn on your liquid Cooled gaming pc. Or your red magic, black shark or rog phone...

And immerse yourself... And make sure that you win. No. 1. Always.

                  Love Gaming.

I would have bought an Xbox or Play Station if I didn't have to pay the monthly subscription charges and I could just one time purchase a game and play. PC isn't my thing as I don't like sitting on a chair and playing games. So smartphones are the only portable and prominent gaming consoles in this era and am happy to play a game even if there are in app purchases as long as they do not affect the gameplay. The only thing I don't like is that the touchscreen experience sometimes because my fingers get sweaty and it ruins the gameplay so I would like games to officially support gamepads on smartphones.

Highly doubt Android will overtake iOS lol, especially with GDSA coming, if anything Google Play will suffer.

The PC and console gaming segment is extremely regulated against in-game loot box scams. Mobile games aren't. Mobile operating system vendors caters to the predatory design that makes people addicted to quick fixes to skip synthetic delays in games.

That is what this study should be addressing, instead of praising its unsurprising profitability.

I hope there's a AAA mobile game that has less microtransactions, $30 price tag and makes us use the controller. Infinity Blade was probably the only AAA mobile game I ever experienced. Correct me if I'm wrong if there's another AAA mobile game.

A guy who said mobile games can potentially cost more than PC/console games are true.

There have been a few Chinese games which demand for lots of in-app purchases, above EA's standards actually. It's possible to end up spending $10000 or more, which can get you a very nice gaming setup. Examples: Be The King (maxing out VIP can cost $150k according to a player's claim in Play Store, but normal in-app purchases are expensive anyway).

Also many mobile games also introduce rampant banner advertising. It takes away the fun of the game. EA and Gameloft are the worst offenders in this respect. I don't know how ads system work, some devs can put less ads by decreasing the frequency of the ads. Whether it may increase profits, I don't know.

The benefit of mobile games are that they're easily accessible, can be played by more people, and many titles are free or paid but cheaper. However, the introduction of "gaming phones" like the ROG Phone 2 seems quite pointless, when there are only very few titles where gameplay is very competitive (ex. PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile, World of Tanks Blitz (this can run at 120fps if needed), and few more). There are far more titles in PC/console that have competitive gameplay (ex. Rainbow Six, PUBG, COD MW, Overwatch, Apex Legends, etc.) and demand powerful hardware. I have been keeping up with both mobile phones and games development but I hardly see much improvement. Devs just don't want to budget too much in mobile games and few just port it from PC/console (ex. PUBGM, CODM, Black Desert Mobile, World of Dragon Nest, etc.). PUBG nowadays have way more players in mobile than PC, especially console.

Again, mobile games can be quite pointless, and so are gaming phones finally. Gaming phones are still somewhat limited (ROG Phone 2 sells quite well, though). I will stick with my iPhone and realme X2 Pro, thanks.

Personally, I'm ok with expansion passes IF, and only if the base game is complete. The Expansion mustn't be Part 2 of the game.

Mobile games are good but worse than PC games. PC games are better in any possible way. Its graphics is unbeatable. But you need powerful PC to play new and cool games.

Never saw appeal in gaming, even less in mobile gaming, what's up with the people latley?

Well i understand what you say and you are right, but slowly i stopped caring about the mass, as the mass was always ignorant, this is just how it behaves and will always behave, and the 20% procent of the people that can think for them selves won't change the fact that 80% are way more and the ship is guided by them. Well at least there is a number of different people and that is good, one can live with it.
