OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro rumored to launch in late March or April

08 February 2020
That would be sooner than the 7 and 7 Pro were made official last year.

If it has wireless charging, it'll be on my shopping list.

AnonD-844557, 08 Feb 2020Better than samsung lg garbage phones at that price point. ... moreI love Oneplus but you can't compare a premium brand like Samsung to Oneplus sorry..and if then maybe you couldn't afford Oneplus you'd end up making noise about Xiaomi and Realme with their horrendous software.Apple & Sammy can't serve as Oneplus or other Chinese brands because they're simply Premium.Criticizing them won't change it.Eventually Oneplus will cost 1000$ and you'll go back to your Xiaomi ecosystem..lol

Samsung is trying with the folding screens, while other companies are trying half baked feature like Google Pixel gesture mode... What OnePlus does is bring features which most people uses on daily basis, Software that is smooth, and stays updated. If you are looking for the best camera, OnePlus isn't the place, they make good cameras but not the best, which enough for most people.

I hope Nokia will do something similar with their flagship this time.
I admire OnePlus for having developed their flagship very complete.
It's solid and they are improving their product every year. They found the correct formula to do it.
Nokia lost its way unfortunately with a few implementations that people did not like. They didn't follow a pattern which they could build on and this year they opt for a new approach.
I don't think they have the luxury to make a new start every year. They have to find a concept that works and build on it delivering a more finished product at a lower price than the competition. OnePlus thought it here very well. I hope their business and efforts will pay off.

Secondly they scored very good with their camera in 2019 at DxO Mark with their OnePlus 7 Pro achieving the 11nth position and being just 3 points away from Samsung S10 Plus and Iphone 11 Pro Max.

Third, at that price point it's a good achievement.

They can release their phones all they want. They are just recycling old phones with updated chipsets, more mp on same bad cameras and different notches at this point.
