Anon., 12 Feb 2020Typical. When the US and American companies can't compete ... moreSo you have no problem with China banning American companies for centuries now, but when the US bans one or two you are outraged.

We have no evidence off these backdoors in the equipment

reminds me of the Ronald Reagan era when he decided to spread a bunch of lies and make cannabis Class 1 for no reason at all. maybe Huawei is spying but I'm sure US companies (Facebook anyone?) are as well, and there's still no proof that they actually are!

Typical. When the US and American companies can't compete and/or are afraid and/or are losing, their last line of defense is to spread rumors and play with human psychology. The US is the biggest spy of them all...and the US gov got caught by the Euro too...many times. Also remember the "Made in Japan sucks," many decades ago,....and then now currently "Made in China sucks" campaign?

lol....yet Apple products are considered one of the top two brand/quality. lol.

They seem to be accusing Huawei of a lot of things but without presenting evidence, I don't believe a word of it

WazzaG, 12 Feb 2020Are the Americans becoming increasingly paranoid about ever... moreNah, they just play bully to the most up-and-coming economy in the world, China.
Look up "Plaza Accord 1989", they did the exact same thing to Japan when it was the most powerful economy in the 80s and 90s, and the result was it hit a 20yo recession.

Are the Americans becoming increasingly paranoid about everything and everyone?

If they kept their noses and fingers out of everyone else's business they wouldn't have half the problems they do.

Do you want the all trusted Team America spying on you or the Commies? Who won't kick your door down or be able to arrest you whenever they feel like for whatever reason.

USA should share some of their proof with the public, then customers would avoid the brand.
