Only competiton that can come in camera department is from Huawei.
Pixel and iPhone will be underwhelming as usual.
Other manufacturers aren't really known for their cameras. They'll offer decent cameras but nothing that can top the charts.

Android is designed to be broken by Google. Google does this because they only want the ad revenue and not the license expenses. The only way to fix this is to have a device alliance fork Android out of Google's greedy fingers. The best option I can think on is Microsoft taking charge, as they have the money, people and infrastructure to handle it like it should work.

They set the third party support timeline. If Google officially says they won't support updates beyond 18 months then OEMs are left with either have to apply their own updates and risking potential issues or simply not updating.
If you hate this, which you should, then demand Google out of Android.

Everything hard is fragile... moreThe whole point people want glass on their phone's display instead of plastic is because it is much more scratch-resistant. In the video, he clearly demonstrated that even his fingernails left scratches on the display, making it equivalent to a plastic display. Also, the problem isn't that the display isn't as durable as we might assume based on the name. The problem is that they're calling it "Ultra Thin Glass" when in fact it's just plastic (probably with some elements of glass in it to justify them naming it that way).
People gave a lot of flak to Apple for calling their camera lens protected by Sapphire, when in fact it was glass with some elements of Sapphire mixed in. We should be fair & criticize everyone who does false marketing & uses deceptive tactics to sell their products. It's only fair that way.

ht... moreUh, everything flexible is soft. Everything hard is fragile. This may or may not be glass, but it has to be scratchable to be flexible. Any physician will tell you this.
Now, is it still made of glass? That requires a scientific investigation we both can't conduct.
I think that people made abstraction of physics and thought that flexible glass must mean it's exactly like Gorilla Glass and got their hopes waaay up. But if they lied, shame on them. If it's still actual glass, but just obeying to the laws of physics, then it's not wrong.

These polls are terrible. Some options are combinable and could have much better names. The three are really expensive, perhaps lg sony and huawei problems are making samsung believe they can up their prices, also a 120hz amoled with that many cameraa should be more expensive than s10.
I would have preferred an s20e.

Only if you like 1.06x optical zoom on non ultra models. Now I understand point of 8K in "Tele" cameras. I'm not customer, so I laugh...

All the phones are good, prices are just to damn ridiculous. Let em drop to below 600 and sure.
Same with the z flip. I like it, too pricey.

For all it's issues, google went above and beyond to make sure you can update these phones easily as a developer - there is no other is that is as easy to update, none. And by a long run . So quit your bullshit.

I doubt that this is sustainable in the long run. You cannot have youtubers as your fans as they only demand free review units. You have to have people actually buying your product.

Which says alot about Samsung.

Get Android away from Google and all fragmentation issues will be gone.
Lastly, Samsung has the same 18 month upgrade support policy as Google.
