          This will probably be the successor to the SE, and judging by how well that iPhone sold this one will sell just as much as the SE did. As the SE was a souped-up 5s, so will this coming iPhone will be an enhanced/updated iPhone 8. When it finally goes on sale I will definitely get one. It will serve my needs and some wants quite well.

While yes iOS uses RAM more efficiently than Android, it's performance is still dependent on how much RAM it has to play around with.

              In the above video, the guy compared a iPhone 8 (2GB) with iPhone 8 Plus (3GB) with the same SoC, but yet the performance difference is huge when multiple apps are running. That is also the reason why Apple keeps raising the amount of RAM on their models every 2 years or so.

And look at sale numbers everywhere not just US, you will see iPhone 8 still selling a lot. Not everyone wants impractical curved screens, no bezel/nowhere to hold screen designs-humongous 6.5 and higher screens, cheap materials/low quality build , less support, no decent cases, at the expense of above. Yes apple also has disadvantages but some have been negated, headphone Jack for example now lacks in most devices, battery life is now much better generally in iphones. If you look at all smartphone sales/ apple stock price there are quite many people who agree..
                  I find last years XR, discounted Xs,max very good value compared to Samsung and others-and this one if it comes at this price- or even a bit higher than current 8, will be a huge hit..

I don't intend on buying it and have never personally owned an apple product, however, considering you are commenting on GSMARENA I'm sure you know that its s.o.c will be faster than any non-apple phone (maybe barring some of Huawei later year offerings) released in 2020.

It uses an archaic design that literally noone else uses. It will have a single camera. It will have the low RAM & Storage (non-expandable). Probably no wireless charging & likely a small-ish battery.

                        I would be happy if they released a smaller iPhone XR, but instead, they're releasing an updated iPhone 8. I doubt even iPhone fans will find this interesting.

                          Retro all the way. Just made for the people who can or not willing to pay to much for a device but still in need for an apple logo. Amazing they not bring out a full screen device anno 2020.

                            Hideous looking dated mobile in 2020! I understand that Apple wants to sell mobiles cheap but this is very cheap looking one! It is like abusing your own customer for choosing a cheaper edition by saying, hey! you poor chap take that POS for $399 or so, for 16GB!

                                  i think it would be similar to Iphone 8 as both are similar next to each other but with lesser camera,battery,speaker and display quality and no wireless charging.
                                  That's my opinion on how they would lower the price.
