Good phone actually. The haters just want to satisfy their psychopath trait by bashing without even testing the phone for themselves to experience.
Some people are smarter and going down to the better suggestion on how to improve the phone and what it should really does.
L Series never intended for a high end users and without a specific target users. Mediatek should improve their entry level chipset if they still want to stay relevant on this segment as we know that Exynos and Qualcomm is really chummy with each other by introducing a better choices for this entry level to midrange segment.
Sony should focus on high end Xperia phone only. Sony Xperia 1 need a grand upgrade, it is indeed having its own charm comparing to the direct rivals of Samsung Galaxy S Series and Note Series for Android world.

Sony defenders are nowhere in sight. I guess they are finding the notched screen indefensible. Sony has let them down.

Got Xperia 1 for myself and it's worked great for my use.
Was considering this for the kids, but since the introduction of the notch I'll have to pass.

SONY still THICK BEZELS, Small Display and only 3 CAMERAS ? What is this? Is it a joke? The Competitors has already 4-5 cameras

And what's worst, they still keep the same bezels, which makes this decision even more dumb

Didn't Google ALREADY ENFORCED that every NEW android phone CERTIFIED & LAUNCHED with the latest Android OS, which is currently Android 10 after end of January 2020 deadline?? Why does Sony STILL LOAD Android 9.0 PIE on Xperia L4 after THAT deadline??
Google will "PUNISH" Sony soon along with Huawei (Y7p, Honor 9X lite), Xiaomi (Redmi 8A Dual)...

The phone doesn't look that bad. I just hope that Sony will get the price right for this model. Sony has a very bad reputation of getting the price wrong every time.
