i'm Sony[ericsson] fanboy, but IMHO, Nokia does the right thing this time. If the price is acceptable, nokia will take the crown from samsung....

Android's battery is flop!
Please do not come to compare with Nokia's battery and others. .
Nokia is always awesome in its battery life :)
And please do not compare 808's camera with others :)
Because, you are still not eligible to do that. .
Firstly, you don't have another XENON flash camera with u!
Secondly, this phone atleast have 41MP SENSOR, does any other phone have it? No :)
And for your information, I'll tell you something. .
This phone is so huge because, its lens moves inside the phone! You can see it while pressing the autofocus key (camera key) as i just saw it in my NOKIA N8 :)
This phone simply rocks :)

Who loves photography then Nokia for them.
Android who loves games - mostly to children's and teens.
And iPhone for rich peoples, who got a lot extra money.
So I am choose Nokia and want to make nice pics (and videos) in everyday life, even at work or back home from work (yes, I got professional photo camera, but too huge and heavy).

Even for a joke you can't compare 808 camera with Galaxy SII or Iph 4S ones. Only the way bigger senzor shoul tell you that, and I don't even speak about the quality lenses, the software involved, the dual flash(way better led flash and a monster xenon flash for a phone). Those two(altough very good) weren't comparable even with Nokia's N8 camera.

if you look closely at the first photo samples, which focusing on marching white car, there is several aliens from galaga video game arcade lurking behind the leaf, point your zoom in the lower middle of the picture... is it image on the flower pot or just my imagination :)

This phone, camera wise, will blow everything out of the water. Ive got both the N8, and as per recently the GS2 (my new work phone) as much as i am enjoying the android OS, in no way does the GS2 come close to the N8. As a professional photographer, i no that this will in no way take over the cams that i use for my work..but to have a camera this powerfull sitting in my pocket that i can grab out in an instant will be awesome. Really looking forward to this phone

Amazing in general, but fully agree about the lack of sharpness on full resolution. I think you are being overly generous by comparing it with the best cameraphones in the market. I'd say that an 8MP pic taken with a 4S or a GSII is far sharper than the equivalent 8MP cutout from a 808 full-res pic.
Good thing Nokia are marketing the technology as a way to get superior 2-5-8 MP pics but I worry that their promises for perfect lossless zoom might be overrated because at the higher zoom setting what you are getting is just the best possible (center of the lens) full resolution cutout.
