awful name, imo, but looks like it might have a nice design to go with all the current bells and whistles that you might expect from a very expensive phone

3x Zoom, 4000mah battery, wireless charging, stereo speakers, better cameras, Zeiss lens, no stupid notch, no curved edges, no rounded display corners, superb audio, and a headphone jack. I might ditch my P30 Pro for this!

Kind of disappointing image sensors. Except the main 1/1.7" main sensor, ther other sensors are the same smaller ones that have been on for a while now.
Hopefully rjw camera experince is less disappointing. Considering Sony has its imaging division being the biggest in the world, it's sad that the changes haven't improved as much as one would have hoped.

The best phone yet, this year, this phone fix everything from the las ones, and the price going maybe 850 - 1000 for me looks amazing good deal, I'm impressed BTW

This phone is a bit shorter as well and thinner. Im sure if you don't wear skinny pants you'll be ok. Can't say the same for the s20 ultra

I like the design (aka no notch/punch-hole etc.), but the size kills it... Simple equation is that 6.5" screen plus fairly sizeable bezels equeals un-pocketable brick.

By the way, for those of you who are wondering why there is no 64Mb (IMX686) camera sensor: I'm guessing that it has been replaced by another 12MP sensor which has the 20fps photography feature mentioned in the presentation. The IMX686, while great for zooming, doesn't have that feature.
Anyway, Sony will sell the IMX686 sensors to other phone makers, for example Xiaomi. You can experience Sony technology even if it's not a Xperia phone.
