Sony partnered with Zeiss long before Nokia. Nokia excluding 808 would be a shame to put Zeiss in front while having such lame color rendering and processing in its lineup starting with its Java phones. Sony did better without naming Zeiss.

Instead, I'll look at YouTubers or web reviews. Sites like All About Windows Phone or All About Symbian and channels like RevAtlas and WillitbeatNokia? is worth checking.

However Leica do work closely with Huawei in a research center built in Germany especially for the two teams to collaborate together
They might not be making high end glass lenses for phone manufacturers but in Huawei case there is certainly a lot more than marketing for example Huawei and Leica reinvented the traditional rygb sensor for a ryyb which was co engineered in Germany and then sent to Sony to be built

Samsung are the worst, only their mainstream phones are acceptable. Remember the Grand Prime and the Core Prime, those were bad enough, you couldn't tell what price range they were from just from the name.
