Here's my take on the upcoming Realme 6 and 6 Pro:
Since they claimed that the duo will use similar camera arrays and 90Hz FullHD+ screen, the thing that likely will separating these two will be the chipset and memory configurations.
Realme 6 will focus on budget side of things, so it most likely to use MediaTek chips such as the G90 (non-T) or at the very least the P90. The RAM will top at 4GB and you will have to content to its relatively slow eMMC 5.0 storage, although with 128GB maximum configuration. Still quite skeptic at the screen anyway, so I bet the 6 will use 20:9 90Hz HD+ screen OR 60Hz FHD+ screen. The 90Hz FHD+ screen might be reserved just for the 6 Pro.
Realme 6 Pro on the other hand should mean 'innovation'. That said, a fast Snapdragon chip such as newly launched SD720G (fingers crossed for a SD730) is expected to power this new kind of beast. The RAM will top at 8GB as usual, along with blazing fast UFS2.0/3.0 storage (though I hoped this one will bring 256GB storage to the masses, although at the cost of value proposition).

Dimensity 1000 based models will start to show up in March, and Dimensity 800 based models will start to show up in May. What will happen in the second half of 2020 depends on whether MediaTek can deliver Dimensity 1000+ (or D1100). If MediaTek does deliver the new chip(s), 2020 will be the most exciting year for smartphones in our memory.

For 2020, Xiaomi's best products will be Dimensity 800 based mid-rangers (and midrange premium models), Dimensity 1000 based near flagships. They will be competitive against anything and everything except for the very top models based on Kirin1020, SD865+ (with integrated 5G), etc.

realme lover, 27 Feb 2020both dimensity 800 and g90t is same. only difference in 8nm... moreDimensity 800 is way better than G9T: far better cpu, better gpu, Far better AI, Better ISP, far far better modem, far far better thermal efficiency. Dimensity 800 (7nm) with 5G uses much much less power than G9T with much weaker 4G modem. Not comparable, two different generations of architectures. If you know all the previous MediaTek SoCs, you will expect there should be some additional generations separating them and Dimensity. In that sense, Dimensity is a revolutionary product for MediaTek, pretty much like the revolutionary Zen architecture for AMD.

With MediaTek Helio G90T (realme 6) and SD720G (realme 6 Pro), these realme phones will outperform Samsung M series (all models) and Samsung A series (models including A71, A60, A51 and below). It will also put pressure on Redmi Note series. Xiaomi will likely put Dimensity 800 on Redmi Note 9 Pro to fight back. Let the drama begin!

OK. MediaTek Helio G90 for realme 6; SD720G for Realme 6 Pro. Very competitive in this segment, since both SoCs are better than Exynos 9611 used for Galaxy M series and Galaxy A51.

Bad time has begun for realme. They are now focusing on quantity rather than quality. A new phone launch back to back after 2 weeks of a gap and no new major changes. They do not want us to buy their product or what?
