Shui8, 29 Feb 2020Waiting for a future phone that follows up this kind of tec... more2 big sensors just like 2 big eyes is an excellent approach ( I've said that a few times in some comments ) though I'd enjoy using zoom when I have no way of going 100+ meters forward of the camera or can't be asked to move.

      Waiting for a future phone that follows up this kind of tech, with just 2 big sensors.

      One that has Ultra Wide 18mm, with 3:2 ratio for Cinematography purpose (along with photo of course).

      One that has optically 28-85mm fast aperture, with 4:3 ratio for Photography purpose (of course can do video as well).

      This setup will minimize too many camera sensors, & the focal length are perfect for street/portrait/travel photography! Dont care so much about 5x or 10x zoom. I'm not that kind of focal length setup.

            chinese companies bring a lot of innovations. but on the other hand, they release so many new models, they cannot support any model for more than a year. So, buying vivo or oppo you buy max 1 year software support. For me, not worth it.

Xiaomi seems to be going the same way with their redmi and poco sub-brands.

                      I'm worried that not all Chinese "fast charging" phones actually have smart battery management, with bad battery life as a result of them being charged too aggressively.

                            I'm guessing that the "gimbal camera" is actually a camera with a fish-eye lens and aggressive electronic image stabilisation, similar to how 360° cameras work in 2D mode. I would expect it to have lower effective resolution compared to regular phone cameras, as a result of the cropping and stretching that is needed.

                                    From all BBK companies, Vivo has always been the weird one to me. They seem to always go their own way and come up with some weird looking stuff. At least, they don't seem to have lost any creativity.

                                      60 watt wireless charging???

                                      Hey Apple... 1,300 usd for a phone with only a few watts charging... So innovative... :-)
