Per official spec given by Unisoc, T7520 supports sub-6GHz only. It does not support mmWave. Under the SA mode, it provides a peak downlink speed of more than 3.25Gbps. In addition, it supports dual-SIM dual-5G and EPS Fall-back and VoNR high-resolution audio and video calls.

Has the same specs on MTK Dimensity 800. So it might be near SD 845 on GPU AND SD 855 on CPU

What i mean is, let's say you're using a 5G capable phone and 4G only phone, in a place that still hasn't got 5G covered yet. Formerly Spreadtrum, no wonder the specs are good. They aren't new to the SoC game.

Huawei, MediaTek, and Unisoc are bringing affordable 5G flagship phones to the world. Qualcomm is charging $130 for SD865 + X55, doubled what it asked for SD855. Qualcomm split SD865 into a SoC and a modem to it can charge twice

Not really, there are some 5G midrange already like Redmi K30 5G and Oppo Reno 3, note that this Unisoc chipset would targeted at midrange phone.

                                      > waste battery
I don't think you're using more battery juice 5G phone when its in lower band say 4G or 3G. I maybe wrong but logically, on the same band you might wouldn't get battery disadvantage whether you're using 5G nor 4G phone.
