I just bought this for 99 eur (Finland). I have s7 edge samsung 32gb now, I'm happy with that. But I want to try this cheap android 10.0 Motorola G8 ... 720p display is okay for me. I usually watch 720p videos from Youtube.

Everyone is complaining about the 720p display. Its PPI is 268 which is not that bad. It still gives a good viewing experience without noticing any pixel. The Moto G7 Power for example has almost the same number and everyone is happy. I can understand the frustration of the downgrade compared to the last G7 but I think that Motorola is re-sorting its G series tiers. It's like the G will swipe with the G Power to be like :
G Play < G < G power < G+ .

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2020Why the display resolution downgrade? Moto G4, G5, G6, and ... moreBecause they are spamming half-a$$ed phones instead releasing two solid midrange phones.
Why not release "Gx and Gx Plus" like they used to few years ago? I looked G8 Power and G8 Plus... neither had NFC so I got myself a A70nfor 250€.

I'm perfectly fine with a 720p display that makes battery life last longer also reducing lags

I don't know what's up with this companies. Make a 720p display, ok I get it, but please don't make a 6.2"+ display with this kind of resolution. Make it 5.7"-6".
I mean is cheap, but what's the point? If is cheap but is no good, what then?
Also, another thing I saw with many models, they put 4000+ mAh batteries, but put tiny chargers (10-15W). When phones right now charge even in 45 minutes (0-100%), nobody wants to stay 2-3h to charge their phone. Not even with this cheap models.

Why they make the punch hole camera? The bezel is thick enough to place the selfie camera

Did Lenovo buy the whole Snapdragon 665 stock from Qualcomm? I don't understand why most G8 models have the same processor.
