                Pricing should have been closer to the Xiaomi Mi 10 than to Samsung.

                As is, why would anyone buy the Oppo instead of Samsung or Apple?

                My guess is that we'll see the price drop by 40% within a three months.

                    I wonder if oneplus make the same mistake? Make theirs ridiculous expensive or will they continue their trend increase it by 50-100 depending on region each year.

                      All these companies decided to make the exact same phone this year.

                            Extensive amount of customizations, themes support and personalization where stock Android simply pales in comparison.
                            Plus All of them are super smooth in 2020 and a much slimmer version to their 2016 counterparts.

                            No one would go through the pain of importing Sony from gray market that too for 1000 dollars. Ppl will rather stick to phones available in their country and avail warranty and other stuff.

                            Find X2 pro is simply better offering compared to Sony despite the price.
                            The Color OS & updates are pretty good in 2020.

                                Oppo and Vivo are much worse with updates than LG and Asus, by far. And these two are slow already.

                                By the way, Xperia 1 ii will be only 1050 euros in Romania, also equivalent to 980 american dollars in canadian gray market.

                                Only Samsung and Huawei sell well flagships. All other rely on midranges to keep their marketshare.

                                Is BBK still selling phones without NFC and usb C? Did they drop gorilla 3?

                                      Also it gets more regular updates than Sony anyways.

                                      Xperia 1 II is the real overpriced flagship.
                                      I bet the Oppo Find X2 will have more sales in China alone compared to Xperia 1 II Sales in the entire world.

                                        Finally Chinese flagships offering some kind of IP Certification.
                                        Also, Good to see 512gb ufs 3.0 as base storage.
