People dont seem to understand that phones are like small laptops. And what happens if you drop a laptop 😀

How can the camera lens brake, by just setting the phone off on a surface? I don't understand this. I have done this so many times with all my phones until now and none broke. This sounds like some horrible quality of the phone...

$1300 phone and you fail to get a case and then put it on the sink top in the restroom instead of folding up and putting it in your pocket. Just Crazy. I pay $600 for a phone and before I order it, I'm ordering screen protectors and a case making sure they arrive before the phone does. $1300 phone no case no problem for those with $100+ dollars to blow getting it fixed I guess lol 🤣😂😆

                  Welcome to the real world.

This is nothing compared to what regular people go through for repairs, for less premium devices with normal warranty.

Buying a phone for it's pretty looks then covering it with an ugly plastic case.

                        Such mental gymnastics.

I get what you’re saying regarding how new this device is - yes, there will be learning curves for both the user and repair facilities... BUT COME ON!! Touching the inside of the camera lens (with enough oil to leave a fingerprint, nonetheless) is such a repair-101 rookie mistake.

Sounds bad, I don't want the service like this. I drive over the road, so many appointments to fix some small damage. And what happened to Samsung's quality?

Plastic still is considered cheap by reviewers

The phone shouldn't break if placed on a hard surface. Doesn't matter if its on a bathroom sink or a ceramic table top on the kitchen. A phone should be strong enough to be placed on a hard surface. I have placed many phones on a hard surface and they did not break. I don't use cases either and i have phones still in excellent condition after years.

If it's true that you just placed the phone on hard surface and it broke then the phone is inherently flawed. A phone should not be required to have a case for normal use.

If you want a case to protect from drops that is a different story, then by all means use a case.
