That was a good Move. Antutu just make mjch more confusion between the mobile user that doesnt even care about perfomance of their phone.

I hope it's banned forever from the store.
How can a business not seeing the massive conflict of interest?
Apps lives & died by reputation.
I will NOT trust AnTuTu anymore.

Google should finally do something useful in life and start managing the cesspool that the Google Play Store has become. But I know, this company only starts setting up a firefighter brigade After the town hall's roof has caught on fire.

Couldn't care less about Antutu. But i would like to congratulate Google on removing all apps with ridiculously intrusive and annoying ads. Now, if only they could also ban phone manufacturers who also love to put intrusive ads in their phones ...

Good no one need those annoying useless stats that have no actual connection to reality of phone usage.
But still its kinda funny that they remove this, but in top100 google play store half of apps/games are filled with shady very dangerous stuff, including some weird flashlight apps that have VERY intrusive ads, and even microtransactions... like wtf.... flashlight app that need microtransactions? I would kick such dev out of shop and ban him from using any android device....

The problem is that GSMArena.com will continue to
use it in their reviews, boring their millions fans.

SamsungRules, 09 Mar 2020another malware, fake useless app on google play. i am glad... moreAntutu is NOT malware. It is though, some serious hardware.
Now the issue is the discrepancy in benchmarks.
For example, last year, Vivo NEX 3 and iQoo 855 scored higher than the ROG Phone 2 for unknown reason. Antutu did not detect those as benchmark cheating.
It has recently been amended. But Blackshark 2 Pro and nubia Red Magic 3s are also missing from the top 10 flagship smartphones list.
Apk download size for ios devices are also strangely very large and I don't get why Antutu places a separate benchmarks list for those.
But only blind people will trust those so-called benchmarks. iPhones with A13 chipset should no longer top the list, same as not all gaming phones top the list. Exynos S10/Note 10 was overrated when in fact an underperformer (throttles too quick). Redmi Note 8 Pro should also not top the list in mid-range smartphones (it has weak GPU, says Notebookcheck).

Benchmarks are important for the community like me and the ones who wanted the best in numbers. Sure, Geekbench is a thing but yeah, it's not malware and Google will bring it back soon.
