Overall, all too similar to the previous generation. For better or worse, they refresh the note series twice a year since Note 5. Hopefully it goes back to yearly refresh instead, unless it is for better spec for the same price. There just too little differences between each model

Why can't manufacturers make a 16:9 Bezeless display instead of all these unusual screen resolutions..

              Not sure about Dimenaity 800

So 720G seems to be most obvious choice for that.

If the specs turn out to be true then the RN9 Pro will be a disappointment. Will probably end up buying Realme 6 or Samsung M31.

To note, RealMe 6 Pro have moved up a bracket and now is in the price range of Redmi K-series, so RealMe 6 Pro is no longer apple to apple comparison to Redmi Note Pro.

Also i prefer Sony's 48mp over Samsung 64mp. Tough that being said, I sincerely thought they'll add Telephoto to Redmi Note Pro

they gave the code yesterday, with a photos, 18w and 720g for the redmi note 9, and today they gave the code for the redmi note 9 pro> 'G (aming) on a redmi note just got so much better! fasten your seat-belts and brace yourself for the thrill of a lifetime 'we see in front of the sentence the letter' G 'is separated from' aming 'meaning this indicates that it will use chipset from Snapdragon, I believe this is Snapdragon 765G 100% so this is a good news

This is so fake, maybe for surprises.
but this spec is clearly showing for the redmi note 9 on twitter they are saying rn9 gonna have 18w fast charging and 720g so this is right for the rn9, and they have just been posting the rn9pro with the headline 'gaming on a redmi note just got so much fasten, fasten your seat-bealt And brace yourselves for the thrill of a lifetime' thats mean its gonna have dimensity 800 or maybe 1000L.

                                  https://www.tomsguide.com/us/micro-led-faq,review-5282.html

"MicroLED is designed to take everything that's great about OLEDs — the self-emissive technology, the perfect blacks and the outstanding colors — while ditching the organic compounds. That translates to MicroLED panels being exceedingly thin and capable of delivering outstanding viewing angles. And because they don't rely on organic compounds, MicroLED panels should be cheaper to produce than OLED. Best of all, MicroLED can technically deliver a brighter picture than OLEDs."

Finally I can have a decent cheap Xiaomi phone. Note 8 Pro was a boon for gamers but a disappointment for those who don't like garish HDR effect in their camera images. Mediatek might be good in processing power but their image processing is primitive.

Could this phone come with an in-display fingerprint scanner? Since Xiaomi recently showed off a fingerprint scanner in an LCD?
