This appears to be the 4G version of the phone with a Snapdragon 730.

Google is launching a mid ranger... So I expected a poor battery. They need to up things substantially for the 5 and 5xl.

Pass... looks like we're gonna have to wait it out for 4/4 XL's markdowns instead. Hole on screen is a fail for me as I'd hoped 4a should have kept 4's physical design just with cheaper SoC + other internals. What the rest here need to understand; outside of NA market, this isn't gonna be as affordable as you'd think. Price-wise by which point of release is gonna go head to head to even rivals like ROG Phone 2?

And also no to 3000mAh batt.

5.8 inch screen and a 3000 mah battery? That is terrible. DoA

Yep. Small battery plus the lack of OIS with a single camera asking a premium price for this mid-ranger is a big no for me.

I have Pixel 3a currently which is a great phone, but i won't buy Pixel as my next phone, this minimalism is too much even for me.

            No OIS?
            Puny battery.
Dear Google, you are a woman. No one can understand you.

RAF, 10 Mar 2020Don't know about the specs, but the size is PERFECT.If the leaks are correct, I fully agree with you. There is no need for yet another phone bigger than 150mm

Looking good. If the prize (and more importantly, the size) is right this might be my next one. 64GB is a bit disappointing, though.

The battery is one of the best parts of the 3a and I don't imagine this will be that much more power-hungry? a 4000 would be very unlikely given the 4a/3a is built to price and removes all excess to achieve the affordable price point

Dolanescu, 10 Mar 2020Great phone... for 400$... What I like about google phones... moreMy 2014 & 2016 samsung divices had most of google's "new" features at the time. Currently samsung, xiaomi, huawei, even BBK brand are better than overhyped stock android.
As for the software updates, you will receive it but it will not matter in 3 years since this is midrange phone

My pixel 3 after less than one year’s use, cannot make it a half day with fully charged battery, and this thing has only 3000mah battery. Good luck selling it, I’m gonna buy huawei or any other phone with a beefy battery.

Battery could have been 4000mah. Or worst case 3500mah. Storage could have gone up to 128GB too. It's still a good phone if the price is right. I say tops $350 for the base. But i think they will stick to $400 or even more. More than $400 and it's the Redmi Note 9 Pro which is way cheaper.
